The Storyboard Stages (First Rough)

Broken down into 20 stages of ten seconds to represent two minutes roughly.

1. Zooming from space to the planet.

2. Zooming further down to the island birds eye view.

3. Then camera pans down and tilts up to show side view of island. Where man and woman sit on a bench at the edge of a cliff with water below and spiral staircase in distance.

4. Camera takes the viewpoint (by a sharp cut after a thunder clap) of the man/woman looking out over the sea viewing rough waves and storm.

5. Camera pans back ( after a lightning flash) out to a side view looking at the man/woman who are looking at each other. They then turn away and start walking towards the bridge.

6. The camera then takes a close rear view of the man/woman.

7. Then from behind the man/woman, the camera slowly pans up and zooms out to show a distant scene showing the island slightly more zoomed in than number 2 showing the outer ring submerged in water. The man/woman are fleeing towards the centre of the island.

8. Camera again takes the view of the man/woman who are looking behind them at the chaotic scene of storms, water rising, people drowning and the bench floating.

9. Then the viewpoint goes to a birds eye view of the man/woman walking up the spiral island. Suggestions of images (not detailed) on the floor.

10. The still a birds eye view but zooming in a little bit more to show some more detail.

11. Camera cuts to the man/woman point of view on a lower down closer up level and they are walking up the spiral seeing clear images on the floor and walls of (etchings) natural disasters, pollution etc.

12. Another zoomed out birds eye view of the man/woman advancing further up the spiral island fleeing the ever increasing waters.

13. Camera cuts to a diagonal mid height shot but this time looking at the front of the man/woman with the view behind them advancing up the spiral island and looking at the man/woman looking at the images from another perspective. The woman is struggling (holding belly) to emphasize her pregnancy and struggle. Man holding woman's hand slightly pulling woman up the hill.

14. Birds eye view of the top of the island with man/woman at the top on a flat plain with water all around them. A powerful symbol with a deep message is depicted on this plain.

15. Camera takes a rear view (sloping upwards slightly) of the man/woman who are looking out over their submerged island. In the very far distance there is a small, fragile boat. There are also dead people, animals and debris in the water.

16. Camera pans round and zooms in a little to a side view of the man/woman again looking at each other.

17. Camera goes to woman's view looking out over the sea again.

18. Camera zooms out from what the woman is looking at to out into space again to see the planet covered in water with just a tiny dot representing the nearly totally submerged island.

19. A further distant shot (zooming out again) of just the planet.

20. Fade to dark - Title credits roll.
